Ocean of Images: New Photography (2015)

The exhibition Ocean of Images brought together the work of 19 contemporary photographers. Their practices explore a post-internet and photo-based culture, while specifically focusing on connectivity, the circulation of images, and information networks. Mirroring the ever-evolving path of an image, the offset rhythmic lines evoke multiplicity and temporality— their energy suggesting movement beyond the confines of the wall. Echoing concepts represented in the show, the ‘RGB’ blue paint and white browser-like windows reference both physical and digital space.
